NightLights Tree Lighting Celebration for Realities for Children

December 1, 2020

Take a child out of the darkness of abuse. The big blue NightLights tree that resides in downtown Fort Collins during the holidays brings awareness to child abuse and neglect in our community.

An annual tradition in Northern Colorado: the lighting of downtown and the big, blue tree. This year, more than ever, we are all craving a sense of connection, community, and experiences that can lift our spirits. NightLights and the Realities For Children team are dedicated to helping bring our community together throughout the entire month of December around the NightLights tree to support an important cause.
In 2020, the tree lighting celebration will be BROADCAST LIVE! We are excited to expand the reach of the event by allowing anyone to tune in, from anywhere, and share in bringing light into the darkness of child abuse.
Join us on 12/1 and the whole month of December while we light up the night to bring awareness to the realities of child abuse and improve the lives of children across Northern Colorado. Learn more at
