Nocturnal Nature: SPREE Holiday Camp

Who wakes up when the sun goes down? Investigate with SPREE the crepuscular and nocturnal creatures of Denver and the South Platte River! SPREE= South Platte River Environmental Education.

Looking for something for your kids to do when school is off but work isn’t? Have them join SPREE at Johnson Habitat Park for fun and educational days filled with games, crafts, adventures and even top secret missions about the environment!

SPREE= South Platte River Environmental Education

SPREE offers school holiday camps for students Kindergarten (must be at least 6)-5th grade at SPREE Headquarters from 8AM to 6PM. The daily schedule will be as follows:

8AM – 9AM: Flexible drop-off time, free explore and craft time
9AM – 3PM: Planned educational activities and adventures by the river
3PM – 4:30PM: Flexible pick-up time, free explore and craft time
4:30PM – 6:00PM: Aftercare, flexible pick-up time, free explore and craft time ($6/child/day)

Cost: $50/child/day. Aftercare $6/child/day

Be sure to pack your camper with a water bottle and a full lunch + 2 snacks. Pack sunscreen, water shoes, and any clothing that they need to spend a majority of the day outside.
