Paws Fur a Cause

My name is Hannah Curran and I am a senior at DSST: Stapleton High School. I am creating a Senior Project that brings attention to an issue I care about. For my project, I am focusing on animal cruelty in puppy mills in hopes of raising awareness and encouraging families looking for a dog (or any animal) to rescue from a local shelter.
In order to do this, I am organizing a one-mile fun run called Paws Fur a Cause that will occur on Saturday, March 17th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at F-15 Park in Stapleton. I encourage participants to bring their dogs to run with them. Tickets are $12 for anyone 19+, $6 for anyone 7-18, and kids 6 and under are FREE! All leftover proceeds will go towards local animal shelters in Denver.
