Power of Preschool Photography Exhibit at Sam Gary Branch Library
October 1, 2014 - October 31, 2014
The Denver Preschool Program’s photography exhibit, The Power of Preschool, offers a glimpse into the life of a preschool child through the lens of five local, award-winning photographers at the Sam Gary Branch Library, 2961 Roslyn Street, through October.
“We’re so pleased to bring this show to the library named after Sam Gary, the man who spearheaded the 2006 ballot measure that created this successful program,” says Jennifer Landrum, President and CEO of the Denver Preschool Program. The citywide initiative makes possible high quality preschool for all Denver’s 4-year-olds. “This exhibit of 30 photographs offers a compelling visual story of why preschool is so important to a child’s future.”
“These talented photographers capture how preschool lays the academic foundation for language arts, math and science while nurturing social skills and emotional literacy.”
