Details:
They are seen by some as a nuisance, but in a short presentation followed by an easy hike, the Standley Lake naturalist will explain how they are important and serve a vital role in the ecosystem of the park. After showing the positives and negatives of Prairie Dogs you’ll get an up-close view of a nearby colony. Dress appropriately. You may want to bring sunscreen and water. All ages must register for this class through the City of Westminster’s Activity Registration Webpage.
Park day entrance fee or pass required. Class is free! All ages. Class is limited to 30 spaces.
