Join Hygge Birth and Baby and NxGen MDx on Saturday, September 14th for a morning of education on genetics and how your genes shape not only your health but the health of your children.

Those who are currently pregnant or are looking to become pregnant are invited to join Hygge Birth and Baby from 10am to 12pm on September 14 for this event.

The following tests will be available to order:
• Genetic Carrier Screening – A screening panel to determine if an individual is a carrier of a genetic condition that they could pass on to their children.
• Hereditary Cancer Screening – A test to determine if an individual is at a higher risk for inherited cancers.

Hygge Birth and Baby and NxGen MDx believe that a strong knowledge and understanding of personal genetic information leads to empowered decisions about an individual’s health and family planning decisions.

Attendees will also have a chance to meet the staff at Hygge, schedule a tour of the facility, and learn about the suite of services Hygge has to offer such as birthing support services, gynecological care, educational classes, and much more!

Interested parties are asked to bring a valid photo ID and insurance card and to RSVP via the “Preparing for Life: Screening Event at Hygge Birth and Baby” on Facebook. Testing can only be performed on individuals 18 years or older. Minors cannot be tested.
