Prodigy Drew Petersen Free Piano Concert

February 8, 2019

On Friday, February 8, 2019 at 7:30 p.m., acclaimed 24-year-old American pianist Drew Petersen will perform works by J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, Liszt, and Granados at Saint John’s Cathedral in Denver as a part of an international tour.

A piano prodigy, the young Mr. Petersen won a 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant, the 2017 American Pianists Awards, and the Christel DeHaan Fellow of the American Pianists Association, and also Artist-In-Residence at the University of Indianapolis. He has been praised for his commanding and poetic performances of repertoire ranging from Bach to Zaimont.

This concert is a part of Saint John’s Cathedral’s 2018-2019 Concert Season, which features largely free top tier musical offerings by a wide variety of vocal and instrumental performers.

A free will offering will be taken. Tickets are not required.
