Run for the Ring 5K & Kids Fun Run
August 3, 2019
The Run for the Ring 5K brings together patients from the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, loyal supporters and running enthusiasts to run for the brass ring – the cure.
At the 5th annual event runners and walkers will enjoy the beautiful Colorado University Anschutz Medical Campus, awards ceremony, and Kids Fun Run and Kids Zone. Participants and their families can dance to music, get balloon animals, jump in inflatables and enjoy tasty treats. There will also be exciting booths to visit for more activities and fun.
All proceeds from the event will support the efforts and programs of The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation whose mission is to fund research, promote diabetes awareness and education, assist families in need, provide continuing education scholarships, and sponsor activities for children and their families.

Saturday, August 3, 2019
Registration begins at 7:00 am, 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:00 am, Kids Zone opens at 8:00 am and Kids Fun Run begins at 10:00 am.
