Seicento Baroque Ensemble

Artistic Director Amanda balestrieri conducts a showcase of music and dance from the French baroque courts. Choral and instrumental music from French baroque opera.
Baroque dancer Elena Mullins from Chicago will perform in period costume, tenor Alex King will sing about Bacchus and Cupid, bass Allen Adair will lead a chorus of Sorcerers, and soprano Kendall Baldwin from Fairview High School in Boulder will sing “Plaisir d’Amour.” A small chorus from Pioneer Bilingual Elementary School in Lafayette will join her. The Seicento choir and baroque instrumental specialists will round out the program with musical gems from French baroque operas.
