State of the City
July 16, 2018
On July 16, Mayor Michael B. Hancock will deliver the 2018 State of the City Address to the people of Denver, thanking them for the continued partnership that has made Denver the exceptional city it is today. Mayor Hancock will outline new and continued work to improve, strengthen and add to the city we love, together.
Following the speech, the Mayor, Police Chief and other cabinet members will get cookin’ burgers and hotdogs at the annual cookout starting at 12 noon. Lunch will be topped off with activities and ice cream outside of the Carla Madison Rec Center. All events are open to the public.
