Tenor Mark Padmore and Pianist Paul Lewis, presented by Friends of Chamber Music

World-class English tenor, Mark Padmore, and internationally-renowned pianist, Paul Lewis, will appear as a part of Friends of Chamber Music’s 65th season on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 7:30 PM, at the Newman Center’s Gates Concert Hall.
Dubbed “ . . . the dream team” by The New York Times, world-class English tenor, Mark Padmore, and internationally-renowned pianist, Paul Lewis, will appear as a part of Friends of Chamber Music’s 65th season on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. The recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, 2344 E. Iliff Ave., Denver.
Mark Padmore has been hailed for his “. . . luminous diction and sensitivity to word and phrase” (International Record Review). The program will include five songs by Brahms, Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder, and the FCM premiere performance of Schumann’s best known song cycle, Dichterliebe.
