The DeLaney Mobile Farm Stand at Stanley

Launching on June 20, World Refugee Day, the DeLaney Mobile Farm Stand at Stanley will feature up to 30 different vegetables and herbs grown organically by refugee farmer trainees of DeLaney Community Farm, just six miles from Stanley Marketplace. Organic fruit, gourmet mushrooms, and free-range eggs will also be available from partner farmers of DeLaney.
DeLaney Community Farm is a collaboration between Denver Urban Gardens and Project Worthmore, a long-time nonprofit partner of Stanley’s. The farm’s mission is to support refugees through sustainable agriculture and community building.
“We believe healthy, organically produced food should be available to everyone,” said Heather DeLong, director of DeLaney Community Farm. Produce at the mobile farm stand will be available for a suggested donation, and the farm stand will accept SNAP/EBT benefits and participate in Double Up Food Bucks Colorado, which doubles the value of SNAP benefits.
The DeLaney Mobile Farm Stand will be constructed out of a classic Pinzgauer that will be stationed on The Plaza at Stanley Marketplace, right by the southeast entrance to the marketplace, every Wednesday from June 20 through October 10, from 1:30 to 3:30PM.
