The History of Dior Hats with Milliner to the Stars, Stephen Jones at the Denver Art Museum

High fashion milliner Stephan Jones, a specialist on the history of hats and curator of several exhibitions on this subject, he will retrace the importance of the hat design at Dior.
Using modern and compelling materials, he has attracted a wide range of celebrity clientele, which includes Diana, Princess of Wales, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Mick Jagger.
Jones first worked with the House of Dior in 1996, and his history with the house will be explored in this lecture.
The lecture will be followed by a conversation with Avenir Foundation Curator of Textile Art and Fashion Florence Müller, who published one of the first books on the history of milliners in 1993.
