“The Lorax” Camp for Swigert Elementary

We’ll celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day using “The Lorax” as our go-to text. Using upcycled items, we’ll create a Truffula forest, along with characters from the story and talk about important things like ways to help our planet.
For Swigert’s day off, we’ll celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day using “The Lorax” as our go-to text. Using upcycled items, we’ll create a Truffula forest, along with characters from the story. This is great fun, and allows us to talk about important things like ways to help our planet while using mostly recyclables for our creations. It’s also a great way for Swigert PTA to get 10% back on your child’s registration fees! For a longer day, register your child for the AM and PM sessions. Activities are different for AM and PM so your child remains engaged all day.
