UCHealth Hosts Evrē – a Unique Women’s Health and Fitness Event

WHAT:
UCHealth is hosting a unique health and fitness day – entitled evrē (pronounced “every”) – designed by women for women. The all-encompassing health and fitness event will allow women to personalize their day, creating an itinerary of health and wellness experiences customized to each attendee, including informative health sessions, interactive fitness classes, and drop-in wellness offerings. Maria Menounos will keynote the event’s “Stories, Struggles & Success” forum.
A few of the must-try fitness classes offered on-site include NUFit® with fitness guru Natalie Uhling, a Pure Barre class and Sound Off™ Yoga, presented by lululuemon and taught by Dr. Christa Schwind.
In addition to fitness classes and informative learning sessions, the event includes complementary drop-in offerings such as UV facial scans, a Pilates demo station, fitness apparel, all-natural skincare, nutrition and hydration vendors, varicose vein screenings and chair massages.
WHY:
In early 2017, UCHealth surveyed nearly 400 women throughout Colorado to gauge which health, wellness and fitness topics are most important to them. evrē was then designed to create a personalized experience for each attendee exploring issues that affect women on a daily basis, including topics such as heart health, skin issues and gynecological topics.
