Urban Air Denver First Responder Charity Challenge for JDRF

Urban Air Denver is bringing First Responders from across the Denver-Metro area to participate in a Charity Challenge to benefit JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and raise critical funds for type 1 diabetes research.

Urban Air Denver is bringing First Responders from across the Denver-Metro area to participate in a Charity Challenge to benefit JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and raise critical funds for type 1 diabetes research.

On Saturday, February 8, local police, sheriff, fire and EMS agencies will compete in a series of fun physical challenges at the indoor amusement park including a Ninja Warrior Course relay, climbing walls races with the two final teams squaring off in a dodgeball finale. The event is open to the public with a $5 donation.
JDRF will be on-site to provide education on type 1 diabetes (T1D) for First Responders and Urban Air Denver is donating 10 percent of their proceeds for the day to the Denver chapter of JDRF. JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research with $13.9 million active research grants in Colorado.
