Virtual EPIC Diabetes Conference

The Children’s Diabetes Foundation presents the 4th annual Empowering Patients for Individualized Care (EPIC) Virtual Diabetes Conference on May 22 for patients, families, friends, and caregivers of people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
Sponsored by the Beatson Foundation, this virtual conference is hosted on Zoom from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. MST. EPIC offers 3 tracks for attendees to tailor their experience – pediatric, adult, and advanced – and keynote speaker, Kellee Miller, Ph.D., MPH, will present “Connecting Scientific Advancements to Patient Care”, highlighting the impact of data on trends in the diabetes community. Session topics include mental and emotional health, remote monitoring, COVID-19 and diabetes, community connections, and supporters and caregivers. Improve patient care and embrace the community at EPIC. Virtual tickets cost $5/person, or $20/family of 4+.
