Volunteering Orientation

Every third Saturday of the month 9am to 10am. Looking for a meaningful way to connect to your community? The Urban Farm at Stapleton offers opportunities for individuals and families. RSVP https://theurbanfarm.wufoo.com/forms/zia2rpb0ou3ew1/
We will take you on a tour of the Farm, introduce you to our programs, and help you get started on your volunteering journey. Dress for the weather. Open to adults and minors. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
STEPS to becoming a VOLUNTEER:
MUST attend orientation
confirm your interest in volunteering
become TUF member
receive a background check email
if pass background check receive volunteer t-shirt
start volunteering
We welcome adults and youth, ages 8+. Volunteering minors, under 18 yo, need to be supervised by an accompanied adult and may not be left on premises alone. Children accompanying a volunteering adult must stay with adult at all times.
Volunteer days and hours are:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am-9:30am – Poultry chores
Tuesdays 8:00am-12:00pm – General chores
Saturdays 9:30am-11:00am – Horse chores
Saturdays 10:00am-1:00pm – General chore
Some Saturdays 9:00am-10:00am – Poultry chores
