Many women in Colorado have been voting since a referendum passed in November 1893 and one can imagine the conversations that were had over a pot of tea. The Center for Colorado Women’s History invites you to our Votes for Women Tea. We will begin with a tour of our historic spaces where guests will be immersed in the time period in which many women sought support for the 19th Amendment. After the tour, we convene in our tea room to enjoy a pot of our signature Lady Evans Tea and tea faire including fresh fruit, scones, and tea sandwiches.

We offer two tour and tea seating on March 19th, 2022. Choose to start your tour at 10:30 AM or 1:30 PM at the time of booking.

Capacity is limited and food is individually plated. All food is prepared off site by a caterer. Any special requests must be made at the time of reservation. Parking is available along 13th Avenue and at the Cultural Center Complex Garage one block away. The building is wheelchair accessible, with a small elevator to access the second floor. Some doorways are narrow in the historic spaces.
