Join Control Group for an immersive sunset stroll through interstitial Aurora, in search of the sublime hidden in plain sight. Come see your cityscape in a whole new way, in an ode to the simple beauty and sublime mystery of sunset.

Starting from the Stanley Marketplace, guests take an 80 minute journey of the senses, integrating movement, music, visual installation, and spoken word in a richly immersive, intimate journey in search of the beauty that’s right in front of us. Surrounded by urban grit and compromised nature, we’ll bear witness to concealed ecstasies and sorrows, and seek moments where we can let our hearts take flight.

This event is family-friendly. It involves a 3/4-mile walk along paved paths and dirt trails. It contains audience-interactive elements, limited visibility situations, loud noises, and moments of profound quiet; and is therefore appropriate for children of any age who are able to take this journey with us.

The tour begins at the Infinite Monkey Theorem Winebar on the 2nd floor of Stanley Marketplace. Preshow begins at 6:20pm, and the performance commences promptly at 6:45pm. Arrive early and enjoy a drink special for ticket-holders!

Please dress for the occasion. We strongly recommend closed-toed shoes, a rain jacket, and attire appropriate for a light hike. Remember that temperatures can drop 15° or more from late afternoon to early evening! Event will happen rain or shine – please check the website for cancellations due to dangerous weather.
