DESCRIPTION:Oboist Ian Wisekal presents a colorful and imaginative facul
 ty recital exploring the many shades of the oboe’s voice. Joined by Ja
 son Shafer (clarinet)\, Anne Breeden (piano)\, and composer/pianist Regg
 ie Berg\, the program features original solo works by Wisekal\, charming
  miniatures by Germaine Tailleferre\, and a new arrangement of Roger Qui
 lter’s Where the Rainbow Ends. The evening also includes the premiere 
 of a jazzy\, genre-blending trio commissioned from Berg. With a playful 
 thread of rainbows running throughout\, this recital promises both heart
  and humor in equal measure.
