DESCRIPTION:Denver’s Grand Slam Paint Jam to Transform Ballpark with L
 ive Murals and Music\n\nDenver’s vibrant street art community will tak
 e center stage June 27–28 during the inaugural Grand Slam Paint Jam\, 
 a live mural festival bringing together more than 20 local and nationall
 y recognized muralists and creatives for a weekend of large-scale public
  art\, music and workshops at 2239 Lawrence St. in Denver.\n\nHosted by 
 Vision 88\, the free public festival will feature artists painting live 
 murals throughout the weekend\, including immersive production walls\, i
 nteractive art experiences\, food vendors\, music\, workshops\, and a co
 mmunity-centered gallery experience benefiting local nonprofit initiativ
 es.\n\nOrganizers expect between 2\,000 and 5\,000 attendees over the tw
 o-day event.\n\n“A paint jam in the graffiti community is a space crea
 ted for artists to come together and break bread\,” Grhimm Xavier\, Co
 -Owner of Vision88 said. “This festival is built upon collaboration\, 
 inclusivity\, and bringing communities together through free public art.
 ”\n\nThe festival’s featured artists include Dream Scape\, Johnny Dr
 aco\, KT Allen\, Jules Mendoza\, Jason Hernandez\, Kaitlin Zeismer\, Ske
 la\, Max Coleman\, and many others whose work has appeared throughout De
 nver and across the country.\n\nIn addition to live mural painting\, the
  event will include a fundraising component for Art For Eyes\, a nonprof
 it focused on raising awareness about retinoblastoma and helping provide
  financial support for children needing prosthetic eyes. Founder and adv
 ocate\, Meg Landry\, will host gallery exhibitions and workshops during 
 the festival. Portions of art sales directly support children with visio
 n impairments.\n\nFestival organizers are also partnering with community
  groups and additional nonprofits to create accessible creative spaces f
 or attendees of all ages and abilities\, including sensory-friendly acti
 vities\, artist networking opportunities and educational workshops.
