r Prize-winning book Tales of the South Pacific\, Rodgers and Hammerstei
 n’s South Pacific remains as timely\, heartbreaking\, and thought-prov
oking as ever.\n\nSet during World War II\, the musical follows two inte
rcultural love stories. U.S. Navy nurse Nellie Forbush wrestles with her
own prejudice as she falls for French planter Emile de Becque\, while U
.S. Lieutenant Cable is drawn to a beautiful island native named Liat. B
oth Americans struggle to reconcile their cultural biases with their fee
lings of love\, all under the looming shadow of war that threatens their
island paradise.\n\nBacked by one of Broadway’s most lush and unforge
 ttable scores—including “Some Enchanted Evening\,” “I’m Gonna
Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair\,” “Younger Than Springtime\,”
There Is Nothin’ Like a Dame\,” and “Bali Ha’i”—South Pacif
ic blends romance\, humor\, and the hard truths of war.\n\nThe cast feat
ures Sarah Kit Farrell as Nellie Forbush\, Jeremy Rill as Emile De Beque
\, Joyce Cole as Bloody Mary\, Burke Walton as Lt. Joe Cable\, Jeff Park
er as Luther Billis\, and 20 other talented actors and singers.\n\nAbout
