DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to try stand-up comedy but had no idea where to 
 start? Maybe you have a few jokes sitting in your notes app\, want to ge
 t better at telling a story\, or just think being funnier would be a use
 ful life skill. The Underground Comedy Workshop is a six-week course des
 igned to teach you the fundamentals of stand-up comedy in a real Denver 
 comedy club. You do not need a polished set or any previous experience! 
 Whether you want to eventually get onstage\, sharpen ideas you have alre
 ady started writing\, improve a speech\, or simply become a stronger sto
 ryteller\, this workshop gives you the chance to actually learn how come
 dy works. LEARN STAND-UP FROM PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DO IT Classes are taug
 ht by established comedy professionals who know what goes into writing\,
  developing\, and performing stand-up. Over six weeks\, you’ll learn t
 he basics of comedy and start building the skills behind a stand-up set 
 inside Denver Comedy Underground\, the same room where touring headliner
 s\, rising comedians\, and Denver comedy shows take the stage every week
 . If you have been looking for a way to learn stand-up comedy in Denver\
 , this is your chance to stop thinking about it and start trying it. SIX
  WEEKS TO WRITE\, LEARN\, AND GET FUNNIER This round of the Underground 
 Comedy Workshop begins Saturday\, September 12\, with classes held at 2 
 PM every Saturday for six weeks. Come ready to write\, experiment\, lear
 n what makes a joke work\, and get more comfortable turning your ideas i
 nto material. You might leave wanting to perform stand-up. You might jus
 t leave better at telling a story and making a room laugh. Either way\, 
 you’ll have six weeks to give it a real shot. For aspiring comedians\,

  to do in Denver\, the Underground Comedy Workshop is a chance to learn
