This concert will feature songs, duets, and quartets by the master composers of German Lieder: Schubert, the Schumann's, Hugo Wolf, Johannes Brahms, and more. The performance will be the culmination of graduate students' work in Graduate Voice Repertoire course under the direction of Sahar Nouri.
The Lamont Jazz Orchestra (LJO) is the University of Denver's premier large jazz ensemble. Made up of five saxes, four trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass, guitar and drums, the LJO performs the standard canon of jazz literature as well as original music by students and faculty.
