“I’m a cat guy,” John Bogart says and laughs. A Park Hill resident for more than 10 years, he is far from being a cat person. For eight years, he has had a dog-walking business in Park Hill. He walks dogs most days of the week; oftentimes while riding his bike, as shown here. At any one time, he can walk (or bike with) up to 11 dogs. It seemed like a good combination of exercise and specialization, he says, recalling when he first thought of the business idea eight years ago. Bogart owns two older dogs—a 12-year-old golden retriever and 12-year-old yellow lab. Both have a hard time going for long walks, so they usually don’t join when Bogart heads out with a pack.
