Centurylink has informed the Front Porch that by late January they will be ready to announce the specific neighborhoods in Denver that will have access to their new 1 gigabit service. Centurylink says this advanced fiber technology is 100 times faster than the national average of 10 megabytes per second (mbps), and will allow users to stream high-definition video content with little to no delays and download movies, songs and TV shows in seconds.
