University Hospital to Offer Summer Teen Volunteer Program

The University of Colorado Hospital will offer a Teen Volunteer Program for 16- to 18-year-olds interested in learning about careers in health care. Participants will volunteer 8 hours each week in a variety of areas including wayfinding, patient transport, day surgery, radiology, pulmonary and central supply. They will get to work with patients by giving out drinks and snacks, as well as learn hands on with physicians.

The program goes from Monday, June 13 to Friday, August 5 at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Any student who has a 3.0 GPA or higher is eligible to apply. Applications are due by 4:30pm April 21.
