Central Park History
Tower Renovation Nears Completion
In the building where air traffic controllers once coordinated landings and takeoffs for the old Stapleton Airport, Punch Bowl Social will open on Nov. 18 at 7pm with an open-to-the-public ticketed event to support the local charity We Don’t Waste (WeDontWaste.org). Get tickets online at PunchBowlSocial.com. At 9pm doors will open to non-ticketed guests.
Conversations About “Stapleton” Continue
October was the third month of community discussions about the name Stapleton. In the prior two months, the conversations were dominated by those who favored changing the name and representatives of five Stapleton organizations listened to those views. This month brought an emphasis on having a community conversation in which all voices would be heard, making a decision and moving the community forward in a positive way.
