For 20 years, Judi’s House has provided grief support and counseling for children and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one. The organization, which was founded by former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese and his wife Brook, has helped 12,000 people cope with bereavement.
“The first thing newcomers say is, ‘This group was so welcoming,’” says Rouse. “We want to help women. I mean, we know how it felt when we first moved into a new community because we all went through it.”
The issue? Refinancing bonds for Central Park infrastructure construction at a lower rate—a move that could save Central Park property owners $65-70 million in interest over the life of bonds.
