Teacher Jamie Snyder had to stay off her foot for several weeks due to a fall down the stairs at her school; a series of follow-up visits at the UCHealth Foot and Ankle Center in Stapleton returned her to full mobility. The state-of-the-art 6,100-square-foot clinic specializes in orthopedics, podiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation. It offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a host of injuries and conditions. Moon says it is the only facility of its kind in the state, and one of only a handful in the nation.

Measles Exposure in Stapleton — Health Department Warning

Denver Public Health says to be alert for these measles symptoms 7 to 14 days after exposure (but up to 21 days):
• Fever, runny nose, red eyes that are sensitive to light and coughing.
• Two to four days after the first symptoms, a red rash appears on the face and spreads to the rest of the body.
A person with measles is contagious for four days before and four days after the rash appears. Call the doctor’s office to tell them about your symptoms before going there to avoid exposing others.
