The Election is May 7. Ballot mailing starts April 15. To win, a candidate needs 50% plus one vote. If no candidate wins the majority of votes, the top two candidates will be in a run-off election on June 4.

DPS’s pay structure, ProComp, which offers incentives and bonuses in areas of particular concern to DPS, is a fundamental area of disagreement between the two sides. ProComp was initially negotiated in 1999, says Laura Lekowits, who was a DPS Board member at that time.
Measles Exposure in Stapleton — Health Department Warning
Denver Public Health says to be alert for these measles symptoms 7 to 14 days after exposure (but up to 21 days):
• Fever, runny nose, red eyes that are sensitive to light and coughing.
• Two to four days after the first symptoms, a red rash appears on the face and spreads to the rest of the body.
A person with measles is contagious for four days before and four days after the rash appears. Call the doctor’s office to tell them about your symptoms before going there to avoid exposing others.
