Get Home Faster in the New I-70 Express Lane

To cut the nightmare of congestion on I-70, the new Mountain Express Lane is expected to open in December during peak traffic times, as needed.
CAB Supports Pursuing a Cycle Track on 26th Ave.
There is consideration for a “cycle track” on the south side of 26th Avenue from Westerly Creek to Moline Street.

RTD uses the simulator to educate children and others about waiting for the lights to stop flashing and the gate to raise fully before crossing the tracks.

In 2016 RTD will change to a fare structure based on zones traveled. The map above shows only the NE portion of the RTD rail system. East Rail Cars Now Being Tested

This April the first two electric rail cars traveled from Union Station to DIA, which kicked off a year of testing prior to the 2016 opening day.
Ski Pool Program Takes On I-70 and Metro Area Traffic

To cut down congestion in the metro area and on I-70 during ski weekends, Ski Pool will provide Chevy Traverses for carpooling commuters who drive at least 15 miles each way to work. Cars can also be used to go to ski resorts.
