My son received his 5th choice. He was wait listed 50th out of 103 for his first choice (Carrie at DPS looked it up for me).Yes all great schools, I’ve been told by DPS administration. I find it difficult to believe that all but 8 students didn’t get their top 3. DPS provides little transparency on their process. They also change the rules every year. Can’t wait for him to get his 5th choice for Junior High in 6 years and be told all but 3 students didn’t get their first pick.
Wondering what the numbers are on how many families where split up not being able to have all their kids attend the same school, from what I have seen its was quite a few.
