On Tuesday, April 12, Denver Public Schools selected the new Board Director for Northeast Denver.

MiDian Z. Holmes is currently the regional operations manager for Randstad Technologies. She has more than 9 years of experience working in non-profits and several years working in education.

She applied to be the board director to continue her work in education and advocate for DPS kids who do not attend high-performing schools.

Holmes is a Denver native. She attended Montbello High School and the University of Denver. She is the mother of three children in Northeast Denver.
