Stars, stripes and summer delights! That’s what you will get at our annual 4th of July Spectacular on Thursday, July 4 at the Aurora Municipal Center’s Great Lawn.
Stars, stripes and summer delights! That’s what you will get at our annual 4th of July Spectacular on Thursday, July 4 at the Aurora Municipal Center’s Great Lawn.
Aurora’s 4th of July Spectacular begins at 6 p.m., with live musical performances and a half-hour firework show at 9:30 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and head over to the site early to snag a viewing spot.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m.-Quemando Salsa Orquesta
7:30 to 8 p.m.-Games Wizard
8-9:30 p.m.-Syndicate
9:30-10 p.m.-Fireworks Show
Food…Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic to the event site. A variety of food trucks will also be available at the event. An ATM will not be available on site, so please plan accordingly.
Parking/Transportation… Free onsite parking will be available on the premises on a first come, first served basis. Event parking will be available on the east side parking lot in front of the Aurora Municipal Center building, on the west side parking lot in front of the Aurora courthouse building and in the lower south parking lot in front of the Great Lawn. The parking garage will not be available during the event. There will be signage on-site to guide you on the appropriate spaces to park.
Don’t want to drive? Take the Aurora R-Line! Get dropped off at the Aurora Metro Station and take a short walk up to the event site.
