Downtown Denver, Why Should I Care?

May 6 @ 7:00 pm

Free

On Tuesday May 6 the Lowry United Neighborhoods Townhall takes a look at downtown Denver. What is the regional economic benefit generated by a strong city? What is planned and why should we care about the historic, cultural, entertainment and economic core that is downtown Denver.

Our panel includes:
• Rodney M. Milton, Jr. (Boulevard One resident), Executive Director, Urban Land Institute Colorado
• Dorit Fischer , (Lowry resident), Chair of Downtown Denver Partnership Board
• Britt Diehl, Senior Director for External Affairs and Marketing & Communications, Downtown Denver Partnership

Up to 30% of our municipal tax base is generated by downtown businesses and tourism. What can we do to keep Denver a vibrant, safe, attractive city with a solid expanding taxbase?

Following the panelist presentation there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if they have convinced you that it is time to take another look at Downtown Denver! Please join us on May 6 for this engaging discussion!
