Helping Hands Free Repair Cafe

In the spirit of Earth Day, this free event aims to keep repairable items out of landfills and honor the skills of people who know how to fix stuff! Our repair coaches can repair jewelry, pottery, lamps, small appliances, computers, sharpen knives, small carpentry projects, garments needing hems or zippers or other repairs, bicycles, garden hoses and many other items. There will be snacks and beverages like a true Cafe, and a table with supervised children’s activities. Repair, don’t Replace! Resist the consumer culture and give your items the TLC they need.
