Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that started in 2020 and opened its doors in 2023. Their mission is to provide a compassionate, loving, lifelong home where elderly dogs are cared for during their good days, bad days, and last days. Located on a veterinarian-supervised, 50-acre ranch in Roxborough Park, just outside of Denver, Colorado. PDSD is a leading “dog retirement community” for canines to live and be cared for until the last day of their lives. PSDS only adopts dogs from area shelters and rescues to help ease overcrowding. Amenities and enrichments include small group and one-on-one care; enormous spaces to play, lounge, and sleep; individual bedroom suites; professionally trained staff and volunteers; and dedicated physical therapy, holistic, and medical care.
