Come take part in a unique photo opportunity for a great cause. For the first time ever, Santa is making a stop at the Aurora History Museum and trading in his red sleigh for Aurora’s iconic Trolley Trailer 610.
Santa will be at the museum from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 for the community to take pictures with.* Visitors can also enjoy sweet treats, face painting and museum scavenger hunts. Don’t forget to stop by the Community Gallery to view this year’s lineup of wreaths that are part of the annual Festival of Wreaths fundraiser.
Cost: Suggested donation of $5 per group or donate what you can.
This year’s proceeds will go towards a new archival storage facility. As the museum has grown, there is now a critical need for a new storage facility to sustain the long-term preservation, conservation and care of Aurora’s history for future generations. A portion of the funding will also go to support the museum’s education programs, and community events. Become an Aurora History Hero and donate to your museum at AuroraGov.org/MuseumFundraiser
*Physical photos will not be provided. Visitors are welcome to take photos of Santa using their phone or camera equipment.
