The Grand Celebration – Celebrating 45 Years of Aurora History

November 16 @ 3:00 pm

$10

Join us for the Aurora History Museum’s Grand Celebration, celebrating friends of the museum past, present and future.

The GRAND CELEBRATION not only includes the Festival of Wreaths, but will also celebrate the 45th Anniversary founding of the Aurora History Museum, and honor the 10th year anniversary of the Ruth Fountain Gallery.

During the opening night come mix and mingle over delicious treats. Check out special artifacts from the museum’s archieves that will be on display for the event only, as well as this year’s lineup of festive holiday wreaths created by community partners and friends of the museum. Enjoy a variety of festive entertainment and learn more about what is coming to the Aurora History Museum in 2025.

Performances by:

-Aurora Hearts Dancers

-Vio the Violinist

-Nepali Dancers

Cost: Suggested donation of $10 or donate what you can.

This year’s proceeds will go towards a new archival storage facility. As the museum has grown, there is now a critical need for a new storage facility to sustain the long-term preservation, conservation and care of Aurora’s history for future generations. A portion of the funding will also go to support the museum’s education programs, and community events. Become an Aurora History Hero and donate to your museum at AMFCO.org/Wreaths
