About the artists:

Verena is a Mexican singer-songwriter now based in Denver, known for her emotionally charged blend of contemporary pop, R&B, and neo-soul, enriched with her Latin American heritage. Through her lyrics, she fearlessly explores themes of vulnerability, authenticity, and the multifaceted human experience, particularly from the perspective of a woman, person of color, friend, daughter, and partner. Verena has successfully used her music to amplify her own stories and the voices of those like her, making her music exceptionally relatable and meaningful. Music performance presented in collaboration with Athena Project.
