Arts practices and collective action converge in this theatre workshop focusing on an issue many of our Colorado neighbors are facing right now: the development of data centers near our communities. Through embodied theatre, we’ll seek to understand the ways this issue is impacting Coloradans, sharing stories and lived experiences of folks directly affected by the issue.
The workshop is hosted by Theatre Artibus and facilitated by Rachael K Sharp in partnership with Womxn from the Mountain, both community leaders committed to fostering meaningful social change. We’ll also engage closely with the local organization GES Coalition, a community-led movement rooted in neighbor power, shared leadership, and a commitment to protecting housing for vulnerable Denver neighbors.
