On the eve of Halloween, step into the shadows for a celebration of one of cinema’s most enduring legends: The Phantom of the Opera. Begin the evening with a festive pre-show party with drinks, a pop-up performance of beloved songs from Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera, and fascinating insights into the many ways the Phantom story has captivated audiences for more than a century.
The evening culminates with a screening of the landmark 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera, starring the legendary Lon Chaney. Accompanied by a live, fully improvised organ score by organist Simon Jacobs created in real time, this unique event transforms a classic movie into an unforgettable live arts experience, equal parts concert, film, and Halloween horror adventure.
After the concert, come up to the organ to learn more about the incredible instrument and play a few notes yourself!
Costumes strongly encouraged.
