Join the Center for Colorado Women’s History every Tuesday evening in June, July, and August! We will be open late until 7:00 PM to enjoy educational programming, company in our gardens, and monthly music.
From 6:00-7:00 PM, educational programming will take place inside. Program tickets include General Admission benefits and guests are welcome to arrive at the museum early to explore our exhibits before the program begins. Capacity is limited, so pre-reservation of tickets is encouraged.
August 19th Guest Speaker: Shannon Voirol is the director of History Colorado’s Affiliate Network and Traveling Exhibits. During research for exhibitions, Shannon has wondered about intersections of sexuality, wealth, widowhood and apparent mental illness that are all woven into the stories of Baby Doe Tabor. Her conversation will explore the Dreams and Visions of Lizzie Tabor and encourage others to look beyond the dress and deconstruct some of archetypal roles Lizzie Tabor has fulfilled.
