FREE and open to the public, a piece of American history will be arriving in Denver this Saturday 8/1 —the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is bringing a 21 foot, 16,900-pound steel beam recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center to Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, in Denver, Colorado.
Attendees will also hear from retired FDNY firefighters who responded on 9/11 and Stephen Siller Jr., son of fallen firefighter Stephen Siller, whose legacy inspired the founding of Tunnel to Towers. The tour began in May and will travel more than 10,500 miles, stopping in 35 cities across 21 states before making its final stop at the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel on September 11th.
