We’re looking for a passionate journalism student to join our team for the summer. If you’re interested in being connected to the community and writing stories that matter, Front Porch is the place for you.

Who We Are:

Front Porch has been publishing a monthly newspaper for the past 25 years. The free paper is mailed and or delivered to 24,000 homes in NE Denver and NW Aurora. We’re part of the community and work to share the voices of the people who live here.

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for someone to write and report stories for the newspaper and on the frontporchne.com site and social media channels.

Qualifications:

• A desire for a career in journalism
• 2025 high school graduate or current college student
• Writing experience
• Photography skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Curiosity
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 18 or older

This is a remote part-time position with in-person meetings and story coverage. The internship will run for approximately ten weeks at $20/hour,10 hours per week. Start and end dates are to be determined based on the candidate’s schedule.
