The Front Porch invites future high school students to take photos at the high school groundbreaking ceremony that will be held July 15 at 9:30am at 56th and Central Park Blvd. Selected photos will be printed in the August Front Porch. Additional photos will be posted at
www.FrontPorchStapleton.com.
NOTE: This is at a construction site. Appropriate attire is mandatory. No sandals or heels, wear only closed toed shoes (and no tank tops). ALSO, all attendees should RSVP to Benita Duran at 720.423.3785.
DIRECTIONS: Enter the site from 56th Ave. (just east of the Valentia St. entry to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park). Turn south onto the dirt construction road to the jobsite trailer.

Photography tips to keep in mind:
Try something big in the foreground with something happening in the background to create depth in the photo
Move around and try different angles (including from the ground and from above) Look for the bigger story, not just photos of the shovels
Try including a sign or drawing of the high school in the photo Try different compositions, don’t be afraid to be inventive.
Each student can submit up to five photos. As you select your five best photos, keep in mind: What tells the story of what happened? What gives the reader a sense of being there? What is surprising or out of the ordinary?
Only high resolution photos can be printed.
