Notice of Informal Primary Election and Call for Nominations for The Park Creek Metropolitan District

TO THE ELIGIBLE ELECTORS of the Westerly Creek Metropolitan District (“Westerly Creek”) within the Central Park Community of the City and County of Denver.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an informal primary election will be conducted by the Park Creek Metropolitan District (“District”) on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Board of Directors of the District has designated that the polling place be at the MCA – Cube, 8371 Northfield Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.

At such election, the electors of Westerly Creek shall vote for two (2) persons who are Westerly Creek eligible electors and Central Park residents or property owners and who will ultimately be qualified to serve on the Board of Directors of the District.

Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms are available from Micki Mills, the Designated Election Official for the District, at mmills@cccfirm.com; telephone number 303.218.7206. The completed Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms must be filed with Micki Mills at the above email address no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1st. A lot drawing will then be conducted on Monday, October 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at the MCA – Cube, 8371 Northfield Boulevard, Denver, Colorado, to determine the position of the candidates’ names on the official ballot.

Any eligible elector of the Westerly Creek may obtain an Application for Absentee Ballot and apply for an absentee ballot from Micki Mills at the email address provided above. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot shall be 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd.

If you are interested in becoming an Election Judge for this informal primary election, please contact Micki Mills at the email address provided above. No previous experience is required. You will be trained.

To be eligible to vote in this informal primary election and be a candidate on the ballot, you must be (i) registered to vote in Colorado and (ii) either a resident within Westerly Creek (Central Park), or a person who owns property in their natural person name within Westerly Creek, or the spouse or civil union partner of such property owner.
