Movement Storytime w/ Colorado Ballet

Mile High Adventure Camp

We are excited to launch a NEW summer day camp this year, Mile High Adventure Camp! This day camp provides your child with the opportunity to discover some of the most exciting and historic areas in Denver and surrounding areas. Not only will your child get to experience outdoor rock climbing with our certified instructors, they also will explore museums while learning about different cultures, art, astronomy, animals, and more!

Pollinator Basics

Sam Gary Library, 2961 Roslyn St., 80238 (720) 865-0325 2:00pm – 3:30pm Learn about different types of bees and wasps—honeybees, native bees, friendly wasps, useful wasps, defensive wasps—and how to help them out. Sarah McGregor, beekeeper at the Urban Farm, will discuss these topics and show you some bee hives, houses and habitat. We might even go looking for neighborhood bees! Suggested for ages 10 and up.

Snap some pictures on this guided hike around Margarets Pond in July and Standley Lake in August and view the season’s abundance of colorful wildflowers, foliage, and gorgeous vistas!
